There is a revolution taking place in how energy is generated, stored and distributed.

By this, I mean the trend for energy generation to migrate away from centralised, government-controlled power to locally generated, locally owned solar and wind installations. When combined with new local energy storage options, this change is having a dramatic impact.

It really is an energy revolution, but how can people access it?

One way is simply education. I was fortunate enough to be invited by the University of the Third Age (U3A) to give a presentation about the New Energy Revolution. It turned out to be a packed meeting hall filled with the most dynamic retirees you can imagine. Questions and ideas flew thick and fast, and I felt I learnt as much as they did.

So, I am now offering this presentation to any other local groups that would like to learn more. With questions, it takes about 2 hours.
