Europe’s energy storage market grew by 49% in 2017 to a total power output of 589MWh.
That’s according to a new report from the European Energy Storage Association and Delta-ee, which shows this followed a trend of steady growth since 2015.
In 2018 the battery storage market is expected to grow at a similar rate of 45%, with the level of new installations accelerating as the year progresses.
