Electric cars drivers can now plug into streetlights for extra juice.
The specially converted lamps allow drivers to park up and plug in but you need a £299 cable – and you’ll be charged for the electricity you use.
Another 50 of the car charging posts were given the green light this week in Kensington and Chelsea.
The scheme is a tie up between Ovo Energy and Ubitricity and follows a trial of the £1,000 conversions in June.

They’re much cheaper than installing new points – which cost an estimated £6,000 – and reduce the need for more roadside clutter.
The lampposts will be placed next to parking bays and available 24-hours a day – unlike some trapped in multi-storey car parks that close.
