Here’s a typical home battery installation, this one installed recently in a customer’s garage in Newport Pagnell. It consists of 5x 2.4kWh Pylontech US2000 batteries, making a total capacity of 12 kWh.

The batteries are combined in a complete system with a Sofar ME3000SP battery inverter, and a battery cabinet that can take up to 6 of these batteries.
Here in close-up we can see how the batteries are connected together electrically with the black and orange cables. These have push fit connectors so the system can be upgraded with additional batteries by the owner, without needing an electrician to call.
