After we complete the installation of your solar panels and home battery (‘PowerBanx’) we will provide ongoing support. This includes making sure that everything is operating correctly, and answering any technical questions you have.
Many of the same questions come up often so we will cover some of the most common ones here.

Introduction to Solar
The basic concepts of solar panel installations are covered here and the information is useful to understand when a question arises, such as about how well a system is working or the way it was installed:
As with many complex pieces of technology, the simplest solution to many odd behaviours is to reset the system, i.e. turn it off and back on again. With a solar and battery system that can be a fairly complex process so it is covered in detail here:
The instructions are for a Sofar ME3000SP battery inverter with Pylontech batteries but the principles apply to most battery systems and hybrid inverters.
Cheap Tariff Rate Charging
If you have access to a cheap time-of-use (TOU) tariff such as Economy 7, Economy 10, or Octopus Go then you can potentially save a significant amount on your electricity bills by charging up your battery in the cheap periods and running your house from the battery in the expensive periods.
