When you think of Milton Keynes most people think about the roundabouts and concrete cows, but with the UK’s first Electric Vehicle Experience Centre and its bid to become a Go Ultra Low City, Milton Keynes is now starting to be known as one of the best electric vehicle (EV) hubs in the country.
Last week Nissan took over the Milton Keynes EV Experience Centre (EVEC) for the first UK reveal of the new Nissan Leaf (‘Leaf 2.0’ or ‘Leaf 2.Zero’). Thursday morning was for invited industry guests and Thursday afternoon to Saturday afternoon was for the public.
Milton Keynes Council have a new online system for applying for a parking permit. If you have an electric car (including plug-in hybrid) you can use it to get a Green Permit. This gives you parking around most of MK for free.
